#whsfridayfact Old Boy’s Association now known as Old Windlesham Leavers (OWLs)
Windlesham’s first alumni gathering was on 9th January 1905. It was a successful dinner held at the Windsor Hotel in Victoria Street, Westminster. This was the beginning of the alumni association, which formerly started the following year in January 1910. Life membership cost £4 and this gave each member a School Magazine once a term and an annual dinner at Christmas time. The original membership consisted of 34 Old Boys and Masters. We now have over 6,000 alumni members.
