#whsfridayfact The Globelink Project  

Windlesham took part in the project, which allowed schools all over the world the change to help rebuild Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre on the Thames Bankside.  The money we raised, £200, went towards ‘The Heavens’, which is the name given to the canopy over the stage painted with clouds, planets and stars.  We planted a time capsule under the stage along with other fund raising schools.  This will be opened in 100 years’ time; only another 73 years to go!
