This book was put together to help raise funds for the Phorste Project and the Gordon Daniel Memorial. Gordon Daniel was killed in a tragic accident at Eton College in November 1993. His family, friends and the school helped raise fund to build a memorial in his name and as he would have been a member of the following year’s Towards Everest Expedition in Nepal, it was decided to help a village community there as well.
