The Wintershall Players, who are now famous for putting on their passion play in Trafalgar Square on Good Friday, were founded by an old Windlesham family - the Hutleys - they are still very much involved in running all their different plays today - some in public and others performed on their estate.
The play attracts an audience of up to 20,000 people and is free to anyone in London on the day. Founder, Peter Hutley's daughter, Henrietta, is a past Windlesham parent to Sam Fiddian-Green (OWL 2007), as are her brothers Edward and Nicholas, with Dougal, Nat and Oliver all attending the school in the late 1990's. Peter psadly passed away in November 2023 but the family are still very much involved with the production. Henrietta is married to Nic Fiddian-Green, a British sculptor, who specialises is making lifelike models of horses' heads, both smaller and larger than life-sized. https://www.nicfiddiangreen.com/
If you are in London on Good Friday why not give it a visit.
