Dean Harden and Robert Bray met at Windlesham circa 1963. Robert writes "Dean will be sure to let me know if that date is wrong. Dean and his older brother Guy were two Americans out of Hong Kong. Their mother knew my mother. We were at Windlesham and The Hardens wanted their boys to spend a few years at an English school prior to finishing their education in the USA. My brother Peter was already at Windlesham. Subsequently in 1970 I joined the London staff of British Bank of the Middle East ( a subsidiary of HSBC). I went off to the Middle East. I was posted to Oman for the second time in 1978/9 and who should I meet there but good old Dean. We have remained good friends ever since. We recently spent a few days together in the UK whilst Dean was visiting. We visited his parents who are buried in Bosham( they were Anglophiles) where they spent their retirement."
