Christopher Davies (OWL '53) was one of the Old Boys who remembers the tremendous outings that took place on All Saints Day every year. The pupils would get excited about this outing for weeks in advance. The day often finished with Eli's tea (consisting of dripping on bread), followed by a game called 'woe is me', and finally a midnight feast after lights out in the dorms
