#whsfridayfact The Library

#whsfridayfact The Library started its life as two libraries; the
Fiction Library which was in Highden and the Non fiction, called the Memorial Library, which is now the Staff room. It was named Memorial as this is where the names of all the boys who lost their lives when fighting in either the Boer War or the 1st and 2nd World Wars.

Now the Library is combined in one lovely space situated in the old 3s common room. This Library was officially opened by Anthony Browne, (children's author) in 2009. When Aly Thornton retired as librarian last year Gill King took over as chief librarian
