The organ was first installed in the Chapel in 1913 after the Chapel’s re-erection at the school’s new premises at Portslade House.  It was rebuilt in 1928 to incorporate tubular pneumatic action, then in 1982 it was electrified and in 1989 the then governors recognised the need for a more varied repertoire of choral music, so more improvements were made
