This was a ledger, which weighed a good few pounds, all the marks for the week, of each boy, in every subject, were recorded. The Masters had to give in their week’s marks in time for all of them to be entered in to the Classicus, which was used from the very beginning when the school was formed. Technology has now taken the place of these documents.
