Mark Evans, who was Head of Geography, took a team of 10 boys on the expedition, Its purpose was to promote cultural awareness and understanding between young people in the UK and Saudi Arabia. Four of the boys were from Windlesham, Dickson Cole, Tommy Fitzalan Howard, Hugo Glover and Edward MacLachlan, all OWLs '05. The expedition took them to the Arctic island of Swalbard.
