Some of the knitting so far

At Windlesham, we love a bit of knitting, so we thought it would be great fun to Knit for Britain in honour of the King’s Coronation. We would love everyone to get involved, including our OWLS, and finger knit in red, whiteand blue so we can festoon the school with a homemade garland. We would also like pupils and parents and OWLS to knit squares in red, white and blue, as we are keen to make coronation blankets for ourselves and the wider community. If you are a talented knitter or would like to give it ago, please help us with our Brit Knit quest. Britain needs your knitting. Post or drop off any squares or garlands to the school.
