Matthew left Windlesham in 2010, went on to Clifton College and is now in his final year at the University of York. Being a very athletic chap he enjoys a challenge, here are a few highlights:

2015 - A Charity Bike Ride John (Matt’s father) and Matt joined the RAFBF Brompton Bike Challenge riding the folding bikes from Paris to London to commemorate the 75th anniversary of The Battle of Britain and raising valuable funds for The RAF Benevolent Fund. The final leg of the ride skirted close to Windlesham with an arduous ride across the South Downs and finally finishing with a flurry down the Mall towards Buckingham Palace.

2015 - Matt volunteered with Raleigh International joining a 300km expedition trekking across Costa Rica! A community programme in Nicaragua followed where he lived with the locals and aided in building a water system into the homes of the villagers!

2016 - Exmoor trail Marathon and Gower trail Marathon

2017 - Ironman UK, 3.8 km swim, 180 km bike ride and then a marathon!

2018 - Paris Marathon and Ironman Wales

Matt also plays golf with a tasty handicap of 4.

What a fantastic list of achievements, may he continue to enjoy success and we look forward to hearing more news about Matt in the future.
